Ignite Kids (4-10)

 In a kids' capoeira class, children can expect a fun and energetic atmosphere filled with playful movements, rhythmic music, and interactive games. They will learn basic capoeira techniques, practice partner exercises virtually, and participate in a virtual roda (circle) where they can showcase their skills and experience the joyful spirit of capoeira. 

 A typical capoeira class will consist of a welcome and check-in, warm-ups (often incorporating capoeira rhythms and music), technique focus, a game, and a closing.  Techniques will consist of beginner kicks, esquivas (dodges), and tricks, and how to connect these together to use with a partner and "flow" in a capoeira game.

** A note on time zones: We teach classes from Wisconsin, USA.  Our time zone is Central Time.  From the second Sunday in March to the first Sunday in November, Wisconsin is on CDT.  From the first Sunday in November through the second Sunday in March, Wisconsin is on CST.
