FAMILY CLASSES
Looking for classes for the whole family?
We have something for everyone! We offer both age-group specific classes, as well as family capoeira classes so families can play together! Our family program is open to students who train in our regular age-specific classes, and is not meant as a stand alone program for families.
These classes are right for you if you have: two or more children from the same or different age groups (ie two between 5-10, or a 5-10 year old and an 11-17 year old), or a youth (under 17) and adult in your household, who want to train together.
In a typical family class, you can expect a warm and supportive environment that is inclusive of all students. This class is multi-age and because of the unique dynamic of it being attended by family members, we will on occasion be able to apply capoeira with our in-person family members. Students can expect a welcome and check-in, warm-ups that may include music, a technique focus appropriate to and inclusive of all ages attending, partner work with your family member, games, and a closing.
** A note on time zones: We teach classes from Wisconsin, USA. Our time zone is Central Time. From the second Sunday in March to the first Sunday in November, Wisconsin is on CDT. From the first Sunday in November through the second Sunday in March, Wisconsin is on CST.
