Ignite Capoeira Cord Colors

Below is our cord color order.  Every student follows the same order, starting by receiving their white cord at their first batizado, and would continue to earn each subsequent cord at each following batizado/promotion event, through full blue belt (promotions past this level become more spaced out and individual to each student).  Batizados and Troca de Cordas (belt changes) occur three times a year. Students who join our Ignite Family with past capoeira experience will have their cord color and apelido honored.

Full blue- Title: Graduado/a/e *

*For comparison, a full blue cord, or Graduate Level title, is comparable in training time and experience to the first degree of black belt in martial arts such as taekwondo and karate.
